: : Opportunities to Serve
1. The Bible teaches that every believer has been called to do the work of ministry (See Ephesians 4:12). At Baxter Road Bible Church we provide opportunities to fulfill this calling. Here is a short list of some of the ministry opportunities, perhaps God may be calling you to be involved.
2. Core Team: Every church has a core team of people who are the mainstays of the church. Some help with special projects, some help wherever they see they are needed. Others are interested in a particular ministry. This team is made up of people from the various ministries and includes teachers, planners, administrators, helpers, brainstormers, artists and people who make sure everything is ready to go on a Sunday morning. It is because of these servant leaders that Baxter Church can run smoothly.
This group is made up of people who are using their gifts and abilities to promote the growth of Christ’s church that meets at Baxter Road. Do you have a heart for ministry? Perhaps God is calling you to be a part of this team or to serve in some other way.
3. There are also opportunities to serve on special projects, like an Easter or Christmas service for instance or a church picnic.
4. There also may be opportunities to open up your home for a small group function like a small group Bible study or as a place for a visiting missionary to stay.
