Our congregation is made up of all age groups from college students, young singles, just married, never married, single parents, young couples with children, families with teens, empty nesters, older retired couples, blue collar, slope worker, military, professional, doctor. People attending include those with no Bible knowledge to Seminary graduates. You may be a strong follower of Christ, or just curious about who He is. Either way, you are welcome.

So I guess you could say that people attending church at Baxter are a cross section of people who live here in Anchorage and all are welcome and very soon find that they are as appreciated and loved as much as anyone else.

Baxter Church is a place where you can learn what the Bible says about life and becoming part of the family of God. It is a place where can grow and become more like the man or woman that God had in mind when He created you. So, whether church is new to you or if church has been a part of your life for many years, it is most likely that there is a comfortable fit for you here at Baxter.

The messages are designed to not only teach the truths and principles found in the Bible but how they apply to our everyday lives.
